§1 Applicability to consumers and definitions

(1) The following General Terms and Conditions apply to all deliveries between us and a consumer in the version valid at the time of the order.

A consumer is any natural person who concludes a legal transaction for purposes that can predominantly be attributed neither to their commercial nor to their independent professional activity (§ 13 BGB).

§2 Conclusion of a contract, storage of the contract text

(1) The following provisions on the conclusion of the contract apply to orders via our online shop https://jwandel.com.

(2) In the event of conclusion of a contract, the contract is concluded with

(3) The presentation of goods in our online shop does not constitute a legally binding contractual offer on our part, but only a non-binding invitation to the consumer to order goods. By ordering the desired goods, the consumer submits a binding offer to conclude a purchase contract.

(4) When an order is received in our online shop, the following rules apply: The consumer submits a binding contractual offer by successfully completing the order procedure provided in our online shop.

The order is placed in the following steps:

1. Selection of the desired goods
2. Confirmation by clicking the “Order” buttons
3. Review of the details in the cart
4. Clicking the “Checkout” button
5. Registration in the online shop after signing up and entering login details (email address and password)
6. Further review or correction of the data entered
7. Binding submission of the order by clicking the “Place order” button

Before bindingly submitting the order, the consumer can, by using the “Back” button in the internet browser used and after checking their details, return to the page on which the customer details are collected and correct input errors, or cancel the order process by closing the internet browser. We confirm receipt of the order immediately by means of an automatically generated email (“order confirmation”). With this we accept your offer.

(5) Storage of the contract text for orders via our online shop:

After conclusion of the contract you will receive an order confirmation by email with all relevant order data. You can view and download our General Terms and Conditions (GTC) at any time on our website at https://jwandel.com/en/terms/. For security reasons your order data are no longer stored in a form accessible via the internet.

§3 Prices, shipping costs, payment, due date

(1) The prices stated include statutory VAT and other price components. Any shipping costs are added.

(2) The consumer has the option of paying by prepayment, direct debit, credit card or payment with Klarna.

(3) If the consumer has chosen payment by prepayment, they undertake to pay the purchase price immediately after conclusion of the contract.

§4 Delivery

(1) Our products are made to order. A generally applicable delivery time can therefore not be stated. The approximate delivery time will be communicated to you in the order confirmation and depends on the respective order situation.

(2) The risk of accidental loss and accidental deterioration of the sold goods passes to the buyer only upon handover of the goods – including in the case of sale by dispatch.

(3) For certain products we optionally offer the express service “Wandel Speedline”. When selecting this chargeable additional option in the cart (surcharge of 15 % on the goods total) we guarantee production and readiness for delivery within 7 working days after receipt of payment. The prerequisite is that only products qualified for Wandel Speedline have been ordered and the option has been activated in the cart.

We reserve the right to decline the express service in individual cases, in particular in the event of capacity bottlenecks or exceptionally large orders. In that case we will inform you immediately and will not charge the surcharge for Wandel Speedline.

§5 Retention of title

We retain title to the goods until full payment of the purchase price.

§6 Right of withdrawal

There is no right of withdrawal for contracts for the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and for whose manufacture an individual selection or determination by the customer is decisive or that are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the customer (§ 312g Abs. 2 Nr. 1 BGB).

Since all products in our range are manufactured individually to order only (e.g. dimensions, materials, colours, combinations), there is no right of withdrawal for consumers.

§7 Warranty

The statutory warranty provisions apply.

§8 Contract language

The contract languages available are German, French or English.
