Solar energy – clean energy for our production
Our photovoltaic system on the roof of our production hall is a central part of this commitment. Our system generates ten times more electricity than we consume ourselves and impressively demonstrates the many benefits of solar energy.
Solar energy is one of the most environmentally friendly energy sources. It produces no harmful emissions and thus contributes significantly to reducing CO₂ output.
By using solar energy we avoid fossil fuels and significantly reduce our ecological footprint.
Our products are durable and resource-efficient
Our concrete products have a service life of several decades without major maintenance. This longevity reduces the need for frequent replacements and repairs, saving resources long term and minimising the ecological footprint.
At Wandel we contribute to environmental protection by, among other things, concreting with rainwater and processing demolition material and concrete residues 100% into new products.
We process exclusively regional wood
Our company uses exclusively first-class larch from the High Black Forest, which thanks to its slow growth has impressive strength and durability.
We use FSC-certified wood and are proud to hold the “Holz von Hier” quality mark – a sign of the regional origin and sustainability of our raw materials.
Thanks to constructive wood protection and solid processing, our larch is an ecologically valuable alternative that stands out even compared with tropical woods.
With this environmentally friendly and robust solution we unite quality, regionality and sustainability in every piece of wood we process.
