The Silentia Rotating Lounger takes the classic Silentia lounger and adds a swivel function. Two nested steel tubes allow the lounging surface to turn smoothly, and the rotation can optionally be locked with a screw. Galvanised side frames, stainless steel fixings and a choice of timbers make it a durable outdoor lounger for parks and public spaces.
The Silentia Rotating Lounger is based on the classic Silentia lounger, with one extra feature: the lounging surface turns on two nested steel tubes, so it can be angled towards the sun or the view as you like. If required, the rotation can be locked in place with a screw.
As with the Silentia, the focus is on stability, longevity and easy installation. The side frames are made of welded metal, galvanised and optionally powder-coated. The lounging surface is made of solid timber slats (locally sourced larch or FSC-certified hardwood) fixed with rust-free stainless steel screws.
For ground fixing, the base has lugs with pre-drilled holes. The lounger can be delivered as a kit for simple assembly on site, or fully assembled on request.
Depending on the project, different installation methods are available: set in concrete, bolted down onto a foundation (at ground level or 15 cm below ground level), or as a free-standing version with a large base plate that can be moved as needed.
The timber can optionally be protected with a glaze: clear to prevent greying, with blue-stain protection (against mould and fungal attack), or with two coats for a darker timber look. The metal parts can also be powder-coated in a colour of your choice (prices on request).
